Challenge that would stretch me- Rio Nagasawa

I am planning to study in Finland from this summer to next spring. It will be for about 9 months and I guess there will be few Japanese around me and encounter enormous troubles or challenges everyday. For example, making new friends speaking only English, taking classes in English or live a life by myself.
I am so anxious and told my host mother about it, and she said "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." The words are so strong and somehow cheered me up. I think I will remember those words when I have troubles in Finland.

  7. How interesting. Studying in Finland I'm sure will be a memorable experience. There will be things you see that will remain long etched into your mind, scenes of such breathtaking beauty, places of such solitude. The trip may be high risk, but it will certainly be high gain.
