Carlos Acosta - Huiwon

I have been thinking about the way to express my feeling to others for a long time. When I say something, sometimes I think it’s not enough or it’s too direct to explain what I want to say. So far, I couldn’t find out a alternative way, Carlos Acosta gave me a good idea.
He said “The most powerful thing about dance is that when you say “ I love you” with words
that’s it but in dance you have movement that’s subject to interpretation. So there are so many ways you could say “ I love you” through movement. But it resonates differently in everybody’s mind.”

It seems a metaphor through a form of art can be the strong and efficient way to send
my messages.

  1. Beautiful idea! I do not know much about art, but I can feel the way to express ones feeling through art.

    1. I don't know either! However though we don't know well about art, I think we can feel and express lots of things.

  2. We can also tell our feelings by body language. I'm happy that we have some ways of communication

    1. So am I. Sometimes I couldn't catch someones saying but I can feel what he wants to say through his eyes, facial emotion and so on.

    1. Yeah. Occasionally there is a situation when just big smile is enough.

  4. Expressing our feelings is very difficult, but all we have to do is to express our OWN way!

    1. So, we should think deliberately about our OWN way!

  5. Thank you for your sharing nice opinion!
I feel that his words also shows how difficult it is to convey what we think correctly. This is because how to interpret depends on each interpreters.

    1. Yeah.I think I always do my best to send my mind through many ways but there are many times when the other side couldn't catch it correctly. Through these situations, it seems I can improve more elaborately my own way to convey what I want to say.

      Thank you for your comment.
