Carlos Acosta - Urara Motomura

I watched “Carlos Acosta – from Havana’s streets to the Royal Ballet” and “Carlos Acosta reflects on 17 years with The Royal Ballet”.

I heard that he was doing break dance when he was 9 years old. His experience in Havana’s streets contributed to be a top ballet dancer.

I am surprised that he tried to act a role people didn’t think or he didn’t think he was suited because it seems much more difficult than acting famous role.

I am also surprised to hear that he hasn’t got any vision as well as his life he is living because I have thought that he has very clear vision of his ballet life. He said that he wants to build a platform so that long after he’s gone, it can help young dancers from all over the world. I learned from him the importance of just practicing as you had done and help others especially those who has similar ambition.

I'd like to be such a person some day.

  3. It is surprising he doesn't have clear vision of his ballet life. I hope he'll able to do as he wished! It is respectable to think about the next generation.
