Challenge That Would Stretch Me-Chiaki Kitaoka

If I were offered to work abroad for a year, it would be a challenge that would stretch me. For me, working abroad needs to master language that I don't use in my daily life. I think working is totally different from studying and travelling. I have to be more responsibility. If I misunderstood what business partners it wouldn't be excused with just saying sorry. To avoid troubles like that, I have to be able to use the language without without difficulty but it is very difficult. However, when I can do this I'll grow up.
Also being accustomed to brand new culture is necessary to work broad. This is too hard to achieve at once. If there is difference between culture of my country and of the other country, I may obey culture of where I am at the time instead of mine. However though the experience to accept the other culture I can deepen myself.
Thus working abroad for a year is a challenge to stretch me.

  1. I agree with that working abroad is totally different from studying and travelling abroad. I also think culture difference will make you upset but respecting its culture is important to work abroad.

    1. Yes, it is.
I am facing the difference of culture, so I'll do my best to get use to it.

  2. I think so, too. Working is different from studying and sightseeing. Working needs responsibilities, so we must be careful to make it done correctly, which is very hard when we must use a foreign language. In working, language barriers are not taken in consideration.

  4. I also think that working is totally different from studying and travel. The moment when arriving in the country, you face lots of adversities like how to communicate well with new people not only how to do the job, but such experience will makes us strong, of course.

I tend to run away from challenges, but I want to change myself.
