I watched some videos about Ana Beatriz Figueiredo.
I really interested in the fact that she didn’t regard
herself as a first woman who won the Indy 500. She was happy for winning as a
one of car racer not as a female racer. And also, watching another video, I felt
she had a strength to prove that women could do well.
I learned from her,
not worrying about what people around me are thinking. In facing some challenges, I should
better push forward myself with believing that I can do it and I will.
I thought she could success because she never gave in when she faced difficulty due to stereotypes to read your post.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she didn't mind the stereotypes. I admire her strength.
DeleteI want to be a strong woman as Ana. She plays an important role in gender stereotypes.
ReplyDeleteI was also interested in the fact she didn't regard herself as a FEMALE racer. In my opinion, if men
ReplyDeleteand women are really equal, we don't have to emphasize on the fact the winner was female or not.
Your opinion is very nice, it didn't come up to me. I agree with you.
DeleteI like her in that she doesn't persist in fame.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I like the point too.
DeleteI was impressed about her thinking. I could learn it isn't matter whether we are men or women.
ReplyDeleteI hope these stereotypes soon disappear and whether we are men or women, everyone can be what he or she wants to be.
DeleteReading your post, I realized that her desire to improve herself had given her a great success.
ReplyDeleteMaybe so, how strong the desire was!
